The PREACHER preached it oh YEAH!

So I went to Foursquare this morning for church, because the had a guest pastor all the way from AFRICA yes you heard me right Africa. What he preached upon was storms in life looking at the scripture Mark 4:35-41, Mark 5:1. All of you have prolly heard the story of the disciples in the boat where Jesus was sleeping when a storm occured and my goodness it was intense and I am telling you I got a gazillion goosebumps when he was preaching and my pastor says when you get goosebumps that is the holy spirit shaking ya and I totally believe it! Some of the stuff Pastor James said today was though the storm comes THE GLORY AWAITS US! He brought up 7 points to his sermon

1. Storms never last a.k.a THEY ARE NOT PERMANT! (praise the lord for that because it is momentarty!)

2. STORMS are terminal meaning they are seasonal they don't last that long they pass over!

3. Storms are prophets of calm! (meaning that when the storms passes you are granteed that the SUN IS GOING TO SHINE!)

4. Storms are there to perfect us. The size of the storm determines the LEVEL of our FAITH!

5. Storms are sent to put us onto land!

6. Storms come to determine just how great our faith is.

7. WE can overcome the storms!

All of this is just amazing what he preached upon this morning and it really shaked me greatly! He also preached up HOW church is not about a feeling, church is not about weather or not you "feel" like going to church YOU GO TO CHURCH BECAUSE IT IS THE HOUSE OF THE LORD!

something that really hit me too was he said WE CAN OVERCOME anything! Come on I don't know about you but that is good news! Also when we step out in FAITH our fears and doubts DIMINISH! (1 John 5:4-5) And since we are born of Christ WE CAN OVERCOME. I just love that word right now O-V-E-R-C-O-M-E! That means we can conqueor satan WHOOP WHOOP! WE are warriors in HIS kingdom so let us be so bold and march into the battle knowing we are going to overcome the enemy because Jesus is fighting through us! That pastor truly blessed me this morning and yes it was very uplifting. So I encourage you to really step out in that battle knowin that YOU are going to OVERCOME any storm, and doubt and any FEAR! The ONLY thist QUENCHING LOVE!

So this blog is for all the girls out there guys you can read this too but ya..........So I am pretty sure all of you have seen a chick flick before and you know the just random stuff the guy does for the girl of who he loves. You know like he just embraces her or sends her, her favorite chocolate or whatever. I don't know about you but when I see this my heart just melts like butter inside my chest. I got thinking about this that you know I don't even have to wait for my prince charming to walk instantly through the door when I have the most significant lover standing right before my precious eyes. His name is the name above all names, his name is Jesus. Jesus just say that name over and over again it just flows so graceful off your lips.

Yesterday I went to the prayer rooms at my church and I am telling you they are just so refreshing and peaceful and amazing. Well God really put on my heart just how much he loves me. He loves us even though we are so unfaithful to him we are known as prostitute towards his love states the book of Hosea. Hosea 2:7~She will chase after LOVERS but will not be able to catch them she will look for them but will not be able to seek them. Then she will say I know I shall return to my husband who provided for everyone of my needs. Why why are we so so unfaithful to our beloved Jesus? Why do we run after the world when we fall or "feel" we need a boost or we say we NEED a boyfriend to just embrace us and so we can let out all of our issues or say our problems to them? Why don't we just go to Jesus for he is already to talk with us. It reminds me of the woman at the well husband after husband. She kept going backwards kept goint to the past instead of the future. Time after time she returned to that "well" seeking love to quench this thrist she had for a true love that satisfys here where she is at in life. Jesus wants to give us his unfailing love! He wants to embrace you when you feel down, He wants to hold your heart in his scarred hands. When Jesus looks at you he sees no stain no disablity, no smudge, no failure, no sin. Jesus comes to you and says I take great delight in you! My love no longer is a thing but it is an intimate passion. My love rejoices over you while I sing and dance over my beloved bride. (Zephaniah 3:14-17). All Jesus wants to do is be with us and yet we run from him he states cleary in the book of Hosea this " SHE decked herself in the riches of the world but ME she forgot"! Wow I think Christ's heart just broke in two there Jesus is the lover we forgot when we were dirty in sin, and life. Him we forgot. He hasn't though forgotten us. The world is NEVER going to satsify us and I mean it. It may seem at the moment that it does satisfy us but time after time again we shall be making that long journey back to the well of lovers to seek another one. And everytime we are going forget that Jesus is at the well waiting for us to talk to us and fill us up with HIS love and let us know that we don't need to keep coming back to the well for love when we can just turn to him. And Jesus knows excatly how many times you are going to be unfaithful to him or travel back to the well. But Jesus also knows just how many times he gets to spill out his beautiful love and grace on you. I am telling you this he is NEVER EVER angry or frustrated with you, and don't let anyone tell you that Jesus is angry with you because that is a lie straight from the pit of hell. Jesus is so moved by you he rejoices and dances over you. And when you recieve his love it is the greatest thing in the world. Also I am telling you no love can match this love he always want to just love apon your dry and thristy soul. Misty Edwards has a song called All Who Are Thristy I strongly recommend you listen to that song. But she says and all who are thristy come to the fountain dip your heart in the stream of love. That is all we have to do is dip your heart in Jesus's love. Its is so simple yet we make it incredibly complicated blaming Jesus that he is going to treat us like past relationships or that he is going to yell at us when we mess up or this one I just cannot let Jesus love me because I am not feeling him. ALL THOSE EXCUSES are lies and satan does that too us making us think that Jesus cannot possibly love us, but Jesus does love us. He created us so that HE COULD SHARE his love. He is never going to let you go out of his grip of grace. His love you wanna know just how amazing it is? Well he was nailed to a tree so that you could have and know his love every minute of the day. Jesus looks at us as PURE SPOTLESS bride befores his eyes. He sees no stain :) He took the nails so he can spill out his love on his beloved which is you. He is not dissapointed in you but he just loves you. So next time you sit down and watch a chick flick and mope around afterwards saying why isn't that me or why don't I have that kind of love in my life this movie does. Hear me out YOU HAVE SOMETHING BETTER. You have a relentless savior who is yearning every minute of your day to love you and to make you giggle and to just pour out on. This love he gives to you is better than anything else in the world better than being so passionatly embraced. So I just want to encourage you and say you do have a love out there and his name is Jesus and ya know something everytime he looks at your face his heart melts for you. God Bless :)

Our GOD and His FAITHFULNESS!

So time for another blog entry! My goodness I just haven't had time on my hands to spare since I got back from the Encounter! For all of you who don't know squat what I am talking about well I shall explain to you! It is an all weekend event that takes place in Hermiston Oregon which isnt that far away from here. Well anyways God moved me so incredibly much that weekend. On Saturday night and Sunday was the most thrilling of all for me! Saturday night worship was beyond amazing God's presence was so thick and tangible His spirit just moved in a way most of us didn't think could move. We began to arise and worship God with all of heart mind and soul and I can tell you it was intense! God also brought freedom for me that night which was an incredibly blessed thing! I didn't think I needed freedom that bad but I sure did and I can tell you there is no better way than to shout it out declaring YOU ARE FREE! Then Sunday came and MY GOODNESS it was so just so close to God it was good. Then we did a fire tunnel and one girl prayed over me for the spirit of joy just to aniont me and it did I fell on the floor just laughing! Hey what can I say Jesus loves hearing his children laugh! And also through the fire tunnel I had a horrible back pain that entire weekend and I know God healed me because my back burned and I know that was the fire of God. After the Encounter we all went back home!

So then Monday came right? Well I couldn't focus I just wanted to be worshipping my creator and all of his goodness. Tuesday came and we had no school so I decieded to go spend a day at Interns and wow I was totally blown away. There was no better way to start out my morning then worshipping and pouring my all out to my Jesus. And that night I went to prayer at the church and God rocked so many of there we prayed over my high school and it was incredible! Then Wednesday came and I cannot even tell you all what happened we had youth on fire at lunch and I know God showed up there too! Then after school I went home and a friend took me to starbucks and she blessed me which was really nice of her! WELL while I was drinking my drink I got this word for this lady sitting by us of course my first reaction was no I am not going to talk to her but I ended up talking to her and I know that the seeds of the kingdom fell apon her heart. When we got to breakthrough that night I cannot even tell you words that describe this place it is like my second home my place where I can just let life go and soak up jesus! The message was over obedience and I know one of the toughest things I cannot do is obey especially like my parents. (And mom and dad I am sorry for rebelling againist you) and it just tore out my heart it ripped it open and I am not ashamed to admit this but I wept, I wept for letting rebellious spirits get into my life. The sermon just tore me our pastor preached upon obeying is harded than rebelling. But with rebelling comes saracfice. Really think about this for one moment we rather rebel than do what is right, we rather ignore convictions in our head than truly follow them. We rather REBEL againist the GOD who created us in his image than to follow his will and his voice! But don't get me wrong God's grace is sufficent for you! God's ways are never for us to rebel but be so obedient to his voice and call. Which brings me to the next point of this blog entry well last night after breakthrough I went home and I heard God ask me to go spend more time with him so I did and I prayed and I am telling you right now GOD is FAITHFUL and he hears every one of your desperate crys and prayers. Well He answered my prayer I prayed that salvations would start to take place at my school and guess what! Today at lunch God was faithful a girl got saved today at lunch! It was just me, my friend and my other friend and the girl. And God showed up just like he showed up this past weekend and all through this week. The greatest thing I love is I know that there is GOING TO BE MORE SALVATIONS on our campus and greater passions for CHRIST! This is my generation and we are going to march into battle KNOWING that we can overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimonies! WE are going to kick some satan butt we are going to over come the enemy, and if we fall we SHALL rise again and continue marching on. For we are coated in the ARMOR of THE LORD and he shall fight with us! My generation is no longer going to be overcomed by evil but we are going to overcome evil with JESUS! The worshippers are arising take a stand and come join the battle! I am telling you this that the fight is totally worth fighting for! I encourage you all to keep stepping out in faith and reading your word daily because that word is a double edged sword to slay the enemy! Have a beyond blessed week :)

Listening To God

Ever have those days where it just feels so incredibly good to sit at someone's feet and just soak up their knowledge and wisdom. Maybe for you it is a grandparent or a parent or a pastor. Well today has been one of those days for me where I just wanna soak up some knowledge and wisdom from my creator Jesus. Mark 10:38-42~ As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the feet of Jesus listening to what he had to say. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her to help me!" "Martha, Martha the Lord answered ,"you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

So this is wow another excellent life changing scripture found in the bible. Why I chose this verse for my blog today is because it truly is amazing and it surpasses all your worries and doubts and just lets you soak up Jesus. So what amazed me by this passage is that Mary was the one quietly sitting at Jesus's feet just soaking him up. It brings me to a wonderful image. I have a friend who is somewhat very quiet and calm and laid back, I just picture Mary the same way she knows that nothing is to worry and that she just pressed into Jesus with all of her heart and he gave her knowledge that she would hold onto forever. Martha on the other hand is alot like me I am always wanting to rush rush rush. But that never works for when God is whispering to you. I am guilty of it for sure I can get so caught up with prepraring my heart that is a mess trying to clean it up without Jesus. And I forget that Jesus is sitting just like 8 feet away just waiting for me to sit at his feet. And after I sit at Jesus's feet he comes and cleans out my heart for me and it is alot easier work for him than it is for me. Today is the encounter and I am really excitted to see how God is going to work and move in my life I hope this encouraged you to take time today and just soak up Jesus. Because when you take time out of your busy bustling day Jesus will be soooo incredibly faithful and will meet with you. And take time to listen to his whispering gentle voice it really does sooth your soul and heart and mind. God Bless you all :)

So Good To ME!!!!

So I was listening to my i-pod today and the song came up So Good to Me by Cory Asbury! It is so true our God is so good to us because He picked us up and He turned us around and He placed our feet on solid ground! God never will fail us but rather He will always support us and hold us with His righteous right hand! I am so stoked for the encounter this weekend with my church God is going to rock us beyond rockable! He is going to show up so incredibly thick you wouldn't ever believe it haha! Well I shall talk more about this later :) I am actucally starting to enjoy blogging and I hope you enjoy this blog entry! God bless :)

Walkin' By Faith

So oh goodness faith where do we even begin? Faith is such a huge topic and it means the world to me because we walk FAITH and never ever by sight. Faith means trusting God with everything and letting go of your trust and trusting him. It is far more easier than said than done isn't it? But I am tired of being that girl who walks by my gut feeling I want to learn to trust God beyond life and know that he is always going to come through no matter what season. I was talking to my friend last night and a HUGE point she brought up with me really has struck my thoughts today. She said this earth IS NOT our home and we should not get comfortable here because this isn't home. Really hear me NOT OUR HOME so why my question is do we get so comfortable and caught up in "our own little worlds" getting accustomed to being lazy or being selfish, self centered and caught up in dispair and disbelief. I mean faith means living beyond and above this normal life, it means doing the kind of daily events Jesus did. I mean HE LIVES in us! He dwell upon us and HE IS going to use us for his GLORY AND HIS KINGDOM! Faith means stepping outside what your "used" to and letting Jesus guide you. I know so many times even I have had words for people around my campus to tell them about our glorious saviour but I get to scared and chicken out. God calls us to be warriors and fight for him, fight for that faith. I look at the bible story where Jesus calls his disciple to come and walk upon the water and he started to walk on the water but when he took his eyes off Jesus he bagan to sink. I know when I think I got it all done my gaze goes off of Jesus and I begin to doubt my faith. Faith is more than just saying faith, faith is about getting up and actucally doing something. It may be uncomfortable to say well I am going to get up and talk to that person but its not for your glory it is for GOD's glory. And I know so many times I inculding say God can't use me because I am not as special as my preacher or that person over there. WRONG God can use any one for his kingdom! I mean the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you so why should you be afraid to unleash that power God has given us? Nothing, and I mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G is impossible for God! And that also got me thinking today that He created the universe with the command of his voice and that proves that nothing is impossible for him. God put us on this earth to do two things 1. Give him all of us in heart mind and soul, 2. to win souls for his kingdom. It is time we start walking out in faith rather than our "thoughts" on what God can do he CAN do the unimaginable but we gotta believe it :) Our God is so big and he has a purpose and plan for every single person on this earth. Jeremiah 29:11 states "I Know the plans I have for you plans for you to prosper and not to harm you but to give you a hope and a future"! Wow I don't know about you but that is a pretty powerful statement that God isnt ever going to harm us! And He is going to give us hope so why do we keep hanging our heads low and complaining? COME on lets stand up for Christ and start walking in his glorious light knowing HE IS GOING to use us for his purpose! I encourage you all to take a step of faith this week! For our God is always with us and won't ever leave us or forsake us! God Bless you all :)
