So tonight I just wanted to talk about fire. I was listening to a podcast earlier and wow it just really struck my heart. The podcast was talking about fire and how bad do we want it? Ok let me ask you this question what does a small little spark do in the dryest of forrest or what we live in is the desert. If you said it will catch on fire then you are right! I want that to be my heart my heart in flames for Jesus burning so brightly. The littlest spark will do it! It will set your heart ablazed in flames. God is OUR consuming FIRE state Hebrews 12:29. He wants to consume us and grasp our hearts. Why is it so hard to keep that flame that God has placed upon eachone of our hearts burning? It is because this world will try and put out that precious light God has given you! You gotta shine it out! You need to let the world see what God has done and put into your life the more you shine the brighter this dark world will get. This life we live by faith and with faith comes fire. When somebody asks you about who Jesus is to you DO NOT be ashamed of our God. For he is mighty and just and he is by your side! If you say your heart burns for jesus than lets give some fire to some other people. It reminds me of this ya know how when the olypmic torch gets pass along from one person to another person this is how I want it to be with the fire Jesus has given me. I want other people to expiernce this passion and this desire. I want other people to expierence what it means to have Jesus as your all in all. I want others to see that the is SO MUCH MORE TO this life than alcohol, drugs, and sex. I want others to know that there is a father who will give them such love that is not word matching. How others will see all this is the flame that burns upon my heart. Others will see the light and come running to it when all their life they have been surrounded by darkness. We are like little children we are so afraid of the dark that we cry out for somebody to come turn on a light. And somebody already has turned on a light his name is Jesus. When we get out of the dark I am telling you that the light actucally comforts us. I know sometimes at night when my house is too dark I will turn on every light I possibly can then it isn't pitch black anymore. Jesus wants you to turn your black heart light again. He wants a fire to burn soooo brightly that nothing puts it out. God says in Zephaniah 3:15 states The Lord your GOD is with you never again SHALL you FEAR! When God's fire consumes your heart EVERY fear will PERISH! This fire I can talk about forever, it is becoming more than a passion in my life to consume God's fire and to keep it burning forever. This passion and this desire just keeps me going it keeps me running when I feel weak. I am listening to the song Obession right now and it is so true " All forever keep me burning keep me burning with the fire of your love." "My heart it burns for you" Jesus I want your Fire to just consume and blaze upon my heart burn everything that is not of you Jesus and make the new creation grow and I love you lord! Well That is all I have to say enjoy the fire and let it burn! God Bless :)

A Man and His Healer
Mark 5:1-20
~This is a pheonomal story it is about how a demon possed man gets healed how Jesus just restored his life and so forth so that is basically what I am going to be talking about :)
So the story goes there is this man who was possed by a legion of demons. And for all of you who don't know what a legion is it is like 7,000 the number. In the old days the term came from a Roman Legion which was a group of 7,000 roman soilders. So ya just wanted to throw that in there. Any ways as the story goes this man got cast away, away from everybody else, rejected by everybody. Nobody could control this man for he was too strong for ANYBODY to chain him up so they basically banished him to a land away from the town. But Jesus came to him on a boat and moved in him and touched his life. Ok now time for the juicy meaty part of the story you better prepare yourselves because it is going to be sweet! God showed me a lot through it and I hope you get alot too! So in the beggining it talks about how this man was possed by demons. It just broke my heart I just see this man being overthrown by the world and captured and entangled in the devils snare. The world has just toss this man like a volleyball back and forth till he was all beated and bruised. And this hurt him so much this story says how this man was hurt it states and "night after night he cried out and cut him self with rocks" wow that really just moves my thoughts because I began to think I wonder how many people at MY school has the world beaten and bruised up till they were truly broken and crying out? My thoughts also running through my mind was this, this man was crying out yet NOBODY heard him because they cast him out. People cast this man out of their lives out of there society and defiently out of any kind of love he could ever recieve. THEY CAST HIM OUT hear me on this so many people in our world have been cast out beaten and tossed around. Nobody cares ever to comfort them or just encourage them which just breaks my heart. He was cast so far away from society it took a good boat ride to just get to where he was and back then they didn't have motorized boats so it too prolly 2 days to reach this place of desertment. The person that did come to this man was Jesus. He knew this man and he was drawn with COMPASSION to persue him and heal him and love upon him. Jesus met this broken man where he was at where everybody else abandoned and disowned him Jesus came and did the exact opposite. What also really compelled me was in the story it talks about in the beggining this man lived in the TOMBS tombs mean this a place where corspes are burried where the dead rot. He was a living man living amoungest the dead. Yet when Jesus came He renewed and gave life to this broken lost man. The story also says when this man was healed of the demons God cast the demons out on a herd of swine and they jumped in the lake and all drowned. Now I don't know about you but I just think it would be funny to see all these pigs jumping into a lake anyways back to my train of thought. What also really caught my eye was when Jesus asked him what his name was, Jesus of course already knew his name but the meaning behind this was incredible he made this man feel welcomed and loved. When the demons came out of him it states he was CLOTHED in a new mind! How fantastic is that? The disciples feared this man because of his new change. When God restores your life he gives you a new mind set and new ablity to believe and dream and BE FREE! A thing I just got from this story was not only was this man living amougnest the dead he was also living with swine. Swine viewed in the bible are
~unclean
~Fierce
~Flithy in habits and lifestyle
~wicked
The prodigal son also talks about a man squarrding off and living with swine. Well it was same case scene here except for the squarding part. He was living a horrible life until that glorious day when Jesus came and rescued his life. The story also states when the man saw Jesus coming upon shore HE FELL TO HIS knees. ( He just didn't get up and say whats up) But instead he feel to his knees that is just how broken and crack his life was. After everything happened this man asked Jesus if he could go with him but Jesus clearly said no because this man needed to go back to his village and preach and tell them about what Jesus had done in his life. Which for me would be his testimony and I am sure when he got back to the town he had one incredibly powerful word to share. It wasn't ever what he did in his life but it is what JESUS had done!
This story was incredibly moving in my life and wow it was some miracle eh? I hope you got as much as I did in this story how our GOD is a God who can heal, restore, and transform our lives radically! God Bless you :)

Pouring It all Out

So yesterday again I went to the prayer room at my church and my goodness the lord showed me so so much! What he has put on my heart lately is that He will carry us to his table no matter where we are in life, or how weak we are to even manage to get to his table he will swoop us up into his loving arms and take us to a place where we can indulge in his love, mercy and grace. At his table we will never go hungry or thristy again he will always satisfy every one of our needs. He won't ever leave us dry or empty :) Well also what the lord spoke to me yesterday is just pouring it all out on him He showed me two stories in the bible which really stood out. The first one comes from the story of Luke 21:1-4, the story goes Jesus was taking offering and the rich people gave what they wanted to however this poor widow came up and put in her only 2 coins she had which were worth less than a penny and Jesus looked upon this widow and said she put in the most ever. She poured her all out on Jesus because he was so worthy to be poured out on. The second story comes from the book Matthew 26:6-13 this is the story of the woman who took her alabaster jar and broke it over Jesus and anoited him with it. I have to say a woman gets an alabaster jar when she got married back then it is a very expenisve fragrance. And yet she poured it all out apon Jesus. I want to be like both these women just pouring my all out on the one who is ever so worthy to pour out on. Jesus poured his blood out on us so what is keeping us from pouring our all on him? I want to be a generation that just gives everything back to God. To just pour out my alabaster jar apon his beautiful head. To saturate him with my love and my heart. To give my offering when I only have pocket change. So ya I encourage you all to just pour out on Jesus this week and he will bless you! God Bless :)

Jesus it all GOES to him!
So well today is easter right? Well I guess I just want to really talk about the life and amazing joy we get from this day! Ahh I don't even know where to begin. Well for starters here.... So last night I went to a hockey game and I felt lead to ask random people this question last night "if you were to die tonight would you go to heaven"? I talked to 6 people total last night the one that really stuck out the most to me was a boy who was like in 4th grade he said he wouldn't go to heaven that when you die you just lay in the ground that is all. My heart just broke into two pieces for this little boy. Wow I just cannot get over it that he is that young and he believes that he isn't going anywhere but to the ground. I just don't know what happened to this generation or maybe my eyes are finally being opened to all these people who don't know this glorious savior of mine. Today is Easter as we know it and our Jesus hung on that cross so we would know him so we could be with him. I also just wondered last night how many people in this arena am I going to see in heaven. And then that got me thinking that I wanna touch as many people and talk to as many people as I possibly can before Jesus calls me home. And I mean talking to people you have no idea who they are can be nerve racking but hey its NOT for your glory all the glory goes to God. God is defiently doing something in this city the anicent ruins are going to be rebuilt! I guess I don't know what else to say but this God is for sure moving in this city and I am telling you to prepare your selves because God is going to ROCK our socks off! But hey one last thing remember JESUS is risen and he is alive and HIS WILL will be done! Oh and I encourage you all this week to really listen to what God is speaking to you he does speak amazing stuff :)

~A Moment for Jesus
Just take a moment
Be enthralled by his beauty
Gaze upon his flesh that was torn open for your life
Feel the splintery wood running over your finger tips
Feel the anionting oil dripping down your head
Grasp the hands that had scars on them for your salvation
Reach out for his feet who traveled through tempation
Pour your heart out like water before Jesus just pour it out
Just take a moment for Jesus because he sure took a moment for you
~Through Life
Through the rain, through the shame and the pain
Jesus is standing with arms wide open
Through the tears, through the fears
Jesus is whispering my bride I love you
Through the dying, through the crying
Jesus is saying you are so pure and precious in my sight
Through the waves and the caves
Jesus is reaching out for his hand
Through the anger, through the sorrow
Jesus is calling your name
Through the blood, through the cross
Jesus paid off your debt, my dear friend YOU were bought at a price
~The Cross
I stand before the cross and I see the cross before me
The wood stained with the crimson blood
I see the cross before me and see the pain and the gain
The compassion and the pure love that was nailed to it for me
I stand before the cross and the cross sees me
~His words
You say to me "do you trust me"?
I say sure but I am kinda scared
You say to me "do you trust me"?
I say well how high are the waves going to be
You say to me "do you trust me"?
I say I guess as long as I have comfort
You say to me "do you trust me"?
I say well maybe what is the scarifice that will have to be
You say to me "do you trust me"?
I say God I am in pain please help me
You say to me "do you trust me"?
I say yes God I TRUST YOU
A Harvest and a Wheat Field.
So I you have prolly driven by a field or seen a field before in your life right? Well I know I have and they make me so curious about them. I just wonder about them sometimes like all the hard work for the abundant harvest that will await the hard workers. Today's blog is going to come from the book of Matthew :)
Matthew 13:44-46
~The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure that is hidden in a field. When a man found it he hid it again and then in his JOY went and sold everything he owned and bought that field. Again the kindgom of heaven is like a merchant looking for FINE pearls when he found one of great value he went away and sold everything he owned just to buy that pearl.
So when I read this passage I get two analogies well I prolly get more but I want to share these two with you.
First I feel like when Jesus spoke on this parable we are like that hidden treasure in that field. We are hidding in this field (which we will call the world) and Jesus is finding us and searching after that treasure. He PAID the price just so we would be his prize possesion just so he could claim us before anybody else did. Jesus is also like the merchant because he sold everything to have possesion of that pearl. Pearls are unique and different not one of them is the same size or color and Jesus views us as a pearl in HIS hand he purchased us by his blood.
My second analogy is this I think also what could have been taking place on this parable is this. I believe MY generation is like this hidden treasure in this field that the unsaved are just hidding we are the ones that need to go find all this treasure in the field. When we find the treasure we are going to be filled with joy because we finally can come to reliazition that the LOST are found now! God views the lost as treasure because he is going to use them for HIS glory and his kingdom.
Matthew 9:36-38
~states that the harvest is PLENTIFUL but the workers are few.
The harvest is more than ready the lost are more than ready to be found but it is us the workers that need to ever be so bold and walk out in faith going to look for them. WE got to rise up and take a stand and be detrimed to find the lost and be willing to pay the price so Jesus can have them back. The price we have to pay is suffering and trials and storms. For if we didn't have any how would we ever be able to minister and grow in Christ? We can minister to people through expierence :) God is wanting these anicent ruins to be rebuilt so lets be bold and start looking for the lost!
I encourage you all to reach out to maybe say 1 person this week who could really use a compliment or a hug or even a smile! God Bless :) and hey 2 more days till easter and for sure I will be writting a blog about that until then have a blessed day!
